The people behind Make Space Events

Marina Rahamim
Qualified Play Therapist & Founder
Marina Rahamim is a qualified child therapist with a Master’s in Play Therapy from the University of Roehampton. She spent her career supporting children through challenges like anxiety, bullying, and family trauma across schools, charities, and local services. Her passion for child development was sparked at Norwood, where she worked alongside Art Psychotherapist Sam, running creative activities for children & young people with additional or complex needs. After spending the last year writing blogs for La Petite Nursery, Marina now channels her experience into Make Space Events - a warm, creative retreat for women to connect, reflect, and recharge.

Sam Farleigh
Art Psychotherapist & Event Facilitator
Sam is a qualified Art Psychotherapist, trained at Goldsmiths University, with over seven years of experience supporting young people through creative expression. His work spans the NHS, schools, and private practice, where he uses art to help individuals process emotions that are often hard to put into words. Sam’s warm, playful approach creates a space where people feel safe, seen, and able to explore. At Make Space, he brings this same ethos—offering thoughtful, creative workshops that encourage reflection, connection, and emotional release in a gentle and accessible way.
